What RollHire is

RollHire is a job marketplace for the half of India's workforce that's been served the worst by job platforms so far — delivery riders, warehouse pickers, drivers, security guards, cooks, helpers, electricians, telecallers, retail staff. The people who keep the country running.

For these roles, most of the existing "job search" experience is one of three things: word of mouth, a noticeboard at the local kirana store, or a commission agent who charges a week's wages to make the introduction. We thought we could do better.

Why we started this

The big job sites in India are built for office work — fitted with résumé parsers, ATS integrations, and "skill assessments" that mean nothing to someone applying for a warehouse role. Meanwhile, an autorickshaw driver looking for a delivery job has to find a Facebook group, decode classifieds in regional newspapers, or pay an agent ₹500 to ₹2,000 to be "placed".

The information gap costs workers money, time, and dignity. RollHire was built to close it.

How we're different

Free for job seekers. Always. No application fee, no listing fee, no "premium" tier. If someone asks you to pay anything to apply for a job on RollHire, it's a scam — report it.
Verified employers only. Every employer is verified by email or registration certificate before their jobs go live. A "Verified" badge tells you we've checked who they are.
Direct contact. Once you apply, the employer reaches you directly. No middleman, no agent, no commission.
Distance-based matching. Every job listing shows you how far it is from where you live. You won't see a job 40 km across town unless you ask to.
Plain Indian English (and we're adding regional languages). No corporate jargon, no résumé-tech vocabulary, no "leverage your synergies".
96+ cities and growing. Metros and tier-2 cities — Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Surat, Indore, Bhopal, Lucknow, Coimbatore, Visakhapatnam, Nashik, Vadodara, and many more.

How it works

For job seekers

Sign up with your mobile number, complete your profile in a few taps, and start applying. You'll see jobs ranked by relevance and distance from where you live. When you apply, the employer's contact details become available to you, and yours to them — no platform middleman.

For employers

Sign up with your mobile number, verify your business (we accept business email or a registration certificate), and start posting. Every account gets 1,000 free points on signup — enough for two job posts. Each new job costs 500 points. Buy more points only when you need them, at ₹500 for 500 points.

Posted jobs run for 30 days, after which they automatically expire so seekers never see stale listings. You can extend, edit, or close a job any time.

What we're trying to build

A few things in order of importance:

The most honest job platform in India. No fake listings, no commission games, no inflated salary ranges.
The fastest-loading job site for tier-2 mobile networks. If it doesn't work on a 3-year-old phone with 3G, it doesn't work for the people we built this for.
A place where someone's first job search isn't also their first lesson in being cheated.

The team

RollHire is built by a small team in India. We're job seekers' relatives, neighbours, and friends — the same people we're building this for. Every product decision starts with: would this help my chacha find his next driving job? Would this help my neighbour's cousin land that warehouse role?

We're not VC-funded. We're not "growth-hacking". We're just trying to build the platform we wish had existed a decade ago.
